We are set in stunning countryside in the Ape Dale, between Much Wenlock and Church Stretton. We rear sheep and a few rare breed pigs. Our free range chickens will provide your breakfast egg. The World Heritage Site of IRONBRIDGE is nearby as is the beautiful town of LUDLOW, where many events are held,including the annual Festival. For hikers the Shropshire Hills are nearby and there is a host of walks from a gentle stroll to serious hill walking. The house is secluded surrounded by a large garden with it's own stream. Guests are welcome to wander, visit the animals or relax on the patio. The guest bedrooms, while part of the main house, have their own separate entrance. We have a double with en suite bathroom and a twin bedded room enjoying the exclusive use of a private bathroom. Both rooms have TY, tea and coffee making facilities and luxury towelling robes.
A feature is that much of your breakfast comes from our own animals, with bacon and locally made sausages from our pigs and eggs from our chickens, which you will see wandering around. We also feature home made marmalade and jam, specialty teas and freshly brewed coffee.

Locally there are a number of pubs with restaurants varying from a 'Gastro-pub'to simple wholesome fare. The Wenlock Edge Inn and Royal Oak at Cardington are reccomended in the Good Pub Guide and we are happy to make a reservation for you.
