The Belvedere is pleasantly situated on the lower slopes of the Long Mynd on Burway Road, standing in its own gardens enabling you to relax amongst the flowers and the fishponds. Set in the midst of the beautiful South Shropshire countryside, it is still only a gentle stroll to the shops and amenities of Church Stretton.
Built at the turn of the twentieth century, Belvedere has long been a comfortable and friendly guest-house, and we endeavour to create an informal relaxed atmosphere, giving good service at a reasonable cost.
There are 7 bedrooms (two double, four twin and one family), all are centrally heated with hot and cold water, shaver points, hair-dryers, clock/radios and tea making facilities for your use. Three rooms have en-suite facilities. There are two seperate toilet and shower rooms and a bathroom are available. There is a large reading and television room provided for your relaxation.
We serve a full English breakfast, although this can be easily varied to suit your taste and convenience. Packed lunches can be provided for your day's outing and our residents' licence means you may enjoy a glass of wine or a beer if you desire.
There is ample off road parking and cycles can be secured undercover overnight in locked facilities. We have facilities for drying wet clothing and boots.
We are animal friendly at no additional charge.
The Belvedere is the ideal place for walkers, cyclists, ramblers or anyone in search of a relaxing break.
